Just as I was winning, the ass appeared! Now I am stuck with a hand full of cards again!
The aim of the game is it to get rid of your cards as fast as possible. Once done, all other players score negative points.
However, beware of the ass... and do not feel sorry if it sticks on you!

Okay, so the game mechanics are the same as the Dilbert Game, the President drinking game, and the Great Dilmuti (sp?). Deal the cards, lead with X number or Y rank cards, and subsequint players must play X number of Y+ cards or pass. Hoiwever leads may choose how many similar cards to play (the X), and all cards must be of th same rank (the Y) or Jokers. The last one to play cards gets to lead, and the object is to get rid of all of your cards. There are a few tweeks to make it a little better than its predecessors.
First, There is an Ass card that can start an ass round where no player may pass, and the 'winner' is stuck with all cards played. This redistribution of wealth works well with more players, and lousy with three. Also, this can make players break up sets of cards they may have been waiting to play.
Second, there is no caste system as in many variations of this theme, so changing position in the game is much easier. If you are the ass, you actually start with the most powerful card in the game.
The dealing system makes you seperate all but 1 card needed for the deal, add the ass card, and then reshuffle and deal. This takes some time.
However, all of this could be played with 2 standard decks of cards (same back) with Jokers, and 1 similarly sized card from any other deck or game for the Ass, as this card doesn't match the other's back and can always be seen.
You score pip value for cards, J=11, Q=12, K=13, Joker=14, and the Ass=20 points when a player plays his or her last card. Lowest score after a predetermined number of deals wins. Save your cash...you already own the game.
