Product Description

Be the first one to round up Mother's lost little sheep in this fun, family strategy game. Each player has a list of five lost sheep they must fence in to return to the Mother Sheep, and only certain types of fences with which to do it. Each piece of fencing is color-coded to match up with other pieces, so you must think strategically when placing them.

Players must work together at the same time as they compete with one another, in order to build up their fences the fastest. Every piece of fencing can either help or hinder the other players, so it’s important to keep track of who else is aiming for your sheep. Will you be the first one to fence in everyone on your list?

A surprisingly good game for the whole family!
June 02, 2007

OK, so let me begin by saying that I hate playing kiddie games with children because they are usually simplistic and you need to let the youngest win or he or she cries.

I was not looking forward to playing this game at first, and then as the game progressed I realized that I was having fun, the crybaby was having fun, everyone was having fun and nobody had a crying fit over losing! why, you ask?

There is a strange secret teamwork component to this game. You don't know who's sheep are who's and building off of each other's fences to capture your's is vital. You could be helping your bitter rival to achieve victory without knowing it, or accidentally destroying all his best laid plans. Everyone can help or hurt everyone else, ONLY if you can correctly guess who's sheep are who's.

I know... I'm really doing a poor job of explaining this charmingly simple yet surprisingly strategically rich game. I'll end my babel by saying that this is one of those rare games that can be truly called a Family Game, not a (shudder!) kiddie game.

More and more fun everytime you play!!!!!!!!!!
March 30, 2006

Minutes to learn - a lifetime to master!

At first glance Mother Sheep seems like a simplistic game of randomly laying out fences.....but then you start to realize that each placement is a strategic manuever!

Do you go right for your sheep.....and let your opponents know who you are trying to fence in? Do you try to fly beneath the radar.....and inconspicuously lay your fences in the general direction of a pack of sheep? Do you play the villain.....and purposely impede the efforts of your opponents, when they try to fence in sheep that aren't on your list?

There are countless strategies to explore. Is there one that can't be beaten? Well, there's only one way to find out.

Tons of fun for the whole family! Mother Sheep is destined to become a classic..... make sure it finds its way into your home!
