Product Description

Part word search, part vocabulary challenge, Obscurity spells fun for word lovers of all ages. Place a word search card on the game board, and ready, set, GO! Everyone races to find words -- four letters minimum. Words may be formed in any direction as long as letters are touching. The first person to write down 10 words shouts, "Obscurity!" But be careful -- you must think fast and be smart or victory can slip away if other players have matching words. Players then use the word list on the back of the card to score their words. The first player to earn 60 points wins. Perfect for home ore school.

Obscurity -- a clear winner
August 10, 2016
Fans of Boggle and Wordigo are sure to enjoy this simple-to-learn, hard-to-master word- game entry. Suitable for two to six players of almost any ability, Obscurity doesn't have a timer, though the player who's quickest to identify 10 words on one of 80 cards ends the round. Typically, one player is the pacesetter, finding common, easy-to-spot four- and five-letter words and often forcing a change in strategy from perhaps more learned, though slower, foe(s). Still, well-read players with broader vocabularies can score points in bunches by finding obscure entries. The first player to 60 points wins this interesting contest of wordsmiths.
