Product Description

Four Score and Seven Yetis Ago...

On the bloody fields of Pennsylvania in 1863, two great armies collided to decide the fate of a nation. The South rose, and the North responded with fervent mettle.

As every schoolchild knows, at the forefront of the battle stood the mighty Yetis, white-furred giants imported from the wilds of Canada to shred the opposing front lines. From the rear, powerful mastodons hurled boulders into the fray. From even further to the rear, great generals engineered the destruction of the opposing forces -- and quite often their own.

Yetisburg -- this War's Anything but Civil.

Very Strange, but Fast and Fun
November 30, 2014

Having been weaned on the original Gettysburg game by Avalon Hill many decades ago, I did a double take when I spied this onthe shelf of a game store in Florence IT a few weeks ago. Very strange, but fast paced and unpredictable. Graphics on cards are excellent (no board). think of it as the card game War we played as kids but on a grander, historic scale. My two grown sons enjoyed it this Thanksgiving, so I took it to "Game Day" with my geekier friends (all over 50). They found it to be fascinating (exploding mammoths!) and will be hoping for it in their stocking this Xmas. Great game to pack in the suitcase when traveling.
