Product Description

Players competed for fried worms in Reiner Knizia's Pickomino, also published by Zoch, but this time you're fighting for food that is actually edible: sushi! The drawback is that you also have to eat the fishbones in order to score.

To start the game, you randomly lay out the 12 sushi and 12 fishbone tiles in a row; the sushi range in points from +1 to +6, while the fishbones are worth -1 to -4. On a turn, you can roll the dice up to three times, but you have to set aside at least one die on each roll. The dice let you claim a sushi tile or a fishbone tile, or steal a tile from another player. The trick is that you must claim a specific tile based on the number of symbols that you rolled; roll two sushi symbols, for example, and you have to claim the second sushi tile in the row no matter how delectable the first tile looks.

At the end of the game, if your sushi stack is taller than your fishbone stack, you throw away the top sushi tiles until both stacks are the same height. (Having a taller fishbone stack, on the other hand, just means that you lose more.) The player with the most points wins.
