Cheat by the rules
March 30, 2000

You are trying to collect sets of cards in one suit before anyone else. One person has an advantage over the others by virtue of rolling two dice and hoping it comes up doubles. The rolling before you play is very clumsy and people tend to be the Cheater far too long. The actual cards help this somewhat by allowing you to raid others' hands but it is still too powerful to be the Cheater. This same idea of having one person being more powerful is done much more successfully and with more fun in Cheapass' Give Me the Brain.
