Hijara is a great game that really does need complete concentration to play
setting yourself up to score while paying attention to all the implications of your opponent's moves is easy and hard at the same time.
not to mention, all the shiny rocks don't make it too hard on the eye, so when you're waiting for your opponent to move, you have omething to look at
Realistically speaking, it's Hijara and it stirs the grey matter.
It's amazing how something so simple can be so hard - on the brain that is.
The best part is observing the opponent when they realize they have just given the game away - shattering for them but highly amusing to watch.
The game was made to last, with no built-in self-destruct mechanism, as the components can take a beating without losing their quality.
Playing Hijara gets me thinking in different 'directions' which makes it interesting.
The fun-factor is setting up 'traps' for the opponent to fall into and win your points for you.
I like the tube it comes in as the game travels well.
Overall, it's a wonderful work-out for the mind and wish we had more like it.
