I wouldn´t say that the game is easy to learn. it took me an hour to understand what all the cards do and to learn the game rules. But after overcoming the learning curve it was a both fun and complex game. I really like the art on the cards. The game has the feeling of both a card game and a board game and you move around a marker to signify that your party is traveling over the world (cards).
With the game comes a diagram on how to place the cards on the table. This is certainly helpful, but I would have preferred to have a board that I could place the cards on.
I can recommend this game to anyone who likes complex card games and if you also like anime and fantasy, then this is the game for you!
When you'll see the game you'll be first impressed by the art, that is amazing. The cards are beautiful and the game is quite easy to learn. Basically you choose a character among two and some advantages cards (that are considered "powers") then you've to move to different location in order to recruit more characters, gain more powers or to complete a quest. After one quest you can reveal the final quest and start it, the player that completes it wins the game.
It reminds Dungeoneer to me but it's really easier. It's funny to play even if the game usually won't last less than 2 hours, especially if you've 5 players (you can't have more). The game permits interaction among players and it doesn't require pens or counters at all, and that's a good thing. We do not play often but it's becoming one of our favourites.
So, the verdict is this: if you like card games like this, and you've time to play, well buy it, it's not that expensive and it's a good game.
