Crazy Kick is a real-time soccer game in which the players break into two teams. Each player will have a deck of cards face-down in one hand, and they try to play the cards to advance the ball down the field, with sometimes a player of your own team being able to play after you and sometimes an opponent. In practice, says Stockhausen in a press release, you want to call out your teammates' names while playing, thereby creating that football-like atmosphere: "From Mike to Laura, and now Leon, Leon again, then to Eric and TOOOOOR!" The goal, of course, is to put that Torkarte into play and score points.
Except for the name and packaging, Crazy Kick is identical to Stockhausen's Fußball-Ligretto, published by Schmidt Spiele in 2006 and now available through his own DLP Games.
