In Riomino, a new version of Kris Burm's Tashkent 5x5, two players each take 12 of the special dice and roll them once, then the 25th die is rolled and placed at the center of an imaginary 5x5 grid. Players take turns adding their dice to the grid, making sure that the pips match on each adjacent edge. If no dice can be added to the grid, the game wins, with the player who placed more dice winning. The number of pips left in reserve is the tie-breaker.
Burm says that he "adjusted" the game to fit it into the SMART games line, but it's not clear whether he's referring to only the graphics or to the game play, too.
