What's Missing? resembles the "spot the differences" drawings that show up in newspapers or children's puzzle books. The game includes 27 double-sided cards that have a beach scene on one side and a mountain scene on the other. One target card is placed in the center of the table, with the remainder divided evenly among the 2-6 players. Each player starts looking at the top card of his stack simultaneously, and the first player to spot the two differences between his card and the target card places his card on top of the center stack, thereby creating a new target card. Guess wrong, and you place the card on the bottom of your stack and draw a new one. The first player to get rid of his stack wins.
An advanced version of the game has players creating a 5x5 grid of cards and spotting the differences between the card they're adding to the grid and each of the cards that would be adjacent to it.
