Classic card game good intro to trick games for kids
September 06, 1999

Rook has been played for years and it is still popular among many circles. The Standard tournament game is an easy bidding game for kids and is a challenge for adults as well.

This has always been a favorite of mine to teach to kids as a stepping stone for Bridge. For cultures who have an objection to face cards (This is why it was popular in certain religious groups) it just lists colors and numbers.
