I played this game for the first time tonight with two other (adult) friends and we had a great time! There's a simple die roll to pick a category and then you try to build from legos a design representing the object in a picture from a deck of cards in three difficulty levels.
There is a very strange but large variety of pieces which forces you to get creative. There is not a standard set of pieces per color, for example there is one flat green piece that is about 10x16 pips but there are no big flat pieces in many other colors. Also there are two people of differing sizes and LOTS of random bits that make it easy to build interesting things but hard to get something that's too easy to guess. This provides a great balance. We had a great silly time laughing at each others' creations. Even the die is creative as it is rubberized on the edges but has spots to customize what appears on each face by plugging in flat lego pieces.
This game is rated for 7+ but I think it's great for adults and probably fine for any younger kids who won't eat the pieces. There are almost no rules and there are four play choices offered for variety. We chose to let two build while one guessed so that more people could be building.
I highly recommend this game! Sure, it's not a "serious" game and there's no strategy, but you can learn it in 30 seconds and be having a blast in the first minute. I am looking forward to playing it again.
