Michael Schacht's Isis & Osiris – first published by Goldsieber in 2001 – is returning in a new edition from Abacusspiele, with a new play variant according to Schacht. Here's a brief description of the game for newcomers:
"Players start with a number of face-down tiles (valued from 4 to -4 but without 0) and some colored game stones. On a turn, a player decides either to place a stone on an empty space on the 6x6 game board or to place a tile; in the latter case, the player reveals the tile to all players, then places it face-down on an empty space. Once the board is full, players reveal all the tiles and score points for their stones, with each stone being worth the sum of the tiles orthogonally adjacent to it (which could be negative). The player with the highest score wins."
