As a Quarrior - a mighty, mystical warrior - only you have the power to capture dangerous quarry from the untamed wilds! You must conjure the mysterious powers of Quiddity, cast powerful spells, and summon your creatures to battle if you hope to overcome your rivals and earn your rightful place as the champion of the Empress! In this game of "Uber Strategic Hexahedron Monster Combat Mayhem," players compete to capture the most powerful Spells and Creatures (in the form of dice!) from the Wilds and add them to their collection. Players then roll their powerful cubes and summon them into play to battle each of their opponent's forces. Strategy is key in assembling a force that you can roll to victory! Each Quarriors Game comes with 130 Custom Dice and 53 Power Cards, a Score Tracker and four Dice Bags.

I got to play Quarriors! for the first time this weekend, and it was a blast!
The premise is very "Dominion", "Ascension" or "Thunderstone". You start with a set number of low-productivity dice, you roll them to see what you have to spend, then you buy new dice to draw from on subsequent turns. How your dice roll determines your income, the strength of your units, and whether you get any special bonuses. It's classic buy-and-grow deck building but with the tactile pleasure that die rolling brings to the table.
Additionally, the dice themselves do not be replaced for there to be expansions. The special powers of each die are defined on dice, and one can alter those powers without designing new plastic molds.
I see this as a must-buy in my future.
