The egg-stealing pigs are out of this world, and the Angry Birds have followed to get their revenge! Game required modification to render it playable.
August 05, 2013

The pieces of this game are so poorly designed that I had to cut up pieces of paperboard and glue them to one side just so my five year-old daughter can put the structures together. (Note that she is in the target audience age.)

The "stone" pieces taper on one side, making them more difficult to stack, and the edges of the "wooden" pieces are rounded...making them more difficult to stack. My daughter couldn't even build the simplest structure because of these design flaws. The included triangular pieces serve no functional purpose. Numerous cards have impossible setups due to the assumption that the triangular pieces will not slide out from under the asteroid (they lack the friction). One card even has more pieces than are included in the game. It's like whoever designed the structures was never given a copy of the game with which to test the setups. The blue bird's tail rests on the basket, interfering with aim. I may end up removing the tail altogether, or just throwing it out and solely using the red bird.

The only reason this game is still in my house is because my daughter enjoys it now that she can actually play it. If I had my way, though, this would be out with the garbage. It should be with its own kind.
