Product Description

In Helios, players are high priests in a distant world of the sun god AHAU, and the power of the sun drives everything in the game as players try to build temples, expand cities, and make their civilization flourish.

Development can succeed, though, only if you've secured a supply of the limited raw materials available, and the more that you've built of your temple, the more expensive the remaining parts will be. Glass manastones are the game's currency, and with them you can acquire people, increase the number of points you'll score, and more.

Mana stones are important!
April 06, 2015

Very fun game. Easy to learn, and to teach. Few actions, everyone counts! Various ways to score points at the end of game. It is very important to collect mana stones to access the characters that let you score end game points. In a 4 player game the characters are fastly buyed in the first and second turn so if you don't hurry to get mana stones you'll end up 40 points down at game end.

Actions are easy to understand and the options must be choosen carefully. To misplace a land token in your board can make you loose points and resources. The order of buildings is also important for the same reasons.

You can try various strategies, but finally all is centered about characters, so is not very highly replayable.
