Product Description

Players move their four pieces around the board from Start to Home. Lucky die rollers can make use of the shortcut spaces to speed movement. However, players can not pass their own pieces and landing on any one else's piece sends the landed-on piece back to the Base where it must start again. First player to get all four pieces Home wins.

Aggravate your opponent!!!!!!
June 26, 2004

I LOVE this game! Every person you play against becomes your NEMESIS!! Your job is to strategically move your marbles so that each of them is in place to AGGRAVATE your opponent!! Whenever they get even CLOSE to Home, BAM ! - - you land on them and send them back to their base! You send two of your marbles down so that you can choose from each roll of the dice how to keep them in range for destruction.

What makes it even more deadly is that at the same time, THEY have YOU in their sites - - you can be as aggravated as you make them. Sometimes even that can be a blessing - - putting you in position to go straight down their final track to Home, to destroy them once again!

I used to play against one other player where each of us had 3 colors to play with -- that's 12 marbles to simultaneously deploy for aggravating your opponent and running Home.

This game is a classic for a reason!

Classic games for kids of all ages ... best with 4 players
January 23, 2004

Nothing fancy, just plain simple fun. I was introduced to the game as the classic marble game. I will say, I can see it being a bit tedious and boring if there are fewer than 4 players, but if you HAVE 4 players and play in teams, this game can be down-right wickedly fun. Great game for couples, and/or family of 4.

It aggravates me.
July 11, 2003

Roll the dice, move. Try to land on the other guy's marble to send him back to the start. Hoo-fricken-ray.

It was okay when I was 10 years-old because I had no exposure to good games. It was slightly better than Battleship and a whole lot worse than rummy.

Aggravation isn't all bad, it does have its place in the world of games. Aggravation is a game for children between the ages of Candyland and Clue. Some kids might enjoy it, play it with them to entice them into the world of good games. Depending on the kid you could find a better game to accomplish this task, but most families have a copy of Aggravation setting in their closet.

One hint to parents and grandparents. If you love your children BUY GAMES FROM THE LOCAL GAME STORE, not the game aisle at K-mart.
