Product Description

Bears vs Babies is a card game in which you build handsome, incredible monsters who go to war with horrible, awful babies. With art from The Oatmeal artist Matthew Inman

The shared deck of cards consists of bear parts (and other monster parts) and baby cards. When you draw a part, you use it to build a monster for yourself; when you draw a baby, it goes in the center of the table. When babies are provoked, they attack, and anyone who has fewer monster parts than the number of attacking babies loses their monster; everyone with more parts than babies defeats this infantile army and scores.

The babies are scarier than bears...
October 09, 2017

This review is based on the Kickstarter version, which preceded the retail edition. Great, twisted fun from the makers of Exploding Kittens. It's got a similarly simple card-drawing mechanic, with some different tactical approaches. Good party game that can be enjoyed by casual players. The sense of humor won't be for everyone -- the bears are the GOOD guys; the babies screaming, biting poop machines -- and some kids might be too young for an explanation of why that bear has a chainsaw for an arm. Still, if your sense of humor is simpatico with The Oatmeal, there's a lot here to like.
